Stave House is a fantastic method for young learners, with the aim of developing strong music literacy in children before they start learning an instrument. There are four levels of stave house, with the final level touching on more advanced musical theory.
The Stave House method is based on play, storytelling, and nursery rhymes. It uses fun characters to introduce children to the notes of the stave, teaching them how to read, write, and understand music.

GROUPS
Group lessons are offered for 3-7 year olds in a fun, creative environment, which is the best way to learn the Stave House method. Group lessons are held in Wimbledon, however Iessons at your home or area are offered if you have a private group of four or more children. Online groups are also available for groups of 2 or more children.
All the equipment and materials for the lessons will be provided by me, and there is the option of purchasing materials for home learning should you wish to do so.
ONE TO ONE LESSONS
Whilst the Stave House method is best learnt in groups, children can also benefit from one to one lessons. These lessons are typically 30 minutes, and parents are encouraged to get involved. One to one lessons are typically taught with the aim of graduating to piano lessons when your child is old enough. Sibling lessons are also available if you would like the fun of a group lesson without the travelling. SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
I am passionate about getting music into schools at an early age, and one of the ways in which I aim to do this is through school workshops. If you are a nursery, kindergarten, or primary school and are interested in these workshops, please get in touch and register your interest below. I am able to deliver one off workshops, or regular extra-curricular groups either during school hours or after school.
